Acceptable use
Last updated: July 2026
The short version: use the API like a good citizen and build something useful. The specifics:
Do
- Respect rate limits and quotas; use the documented pagination instead of hammering.
- Cache responses where your use case allows — the data updates on retail cadence.
- Report security issues to us privately (via GitHub, while our support inbox is being set up) before public disclosure.
Don't
- Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or quotas (including key-sharing or key farming).
- Probe, scan, or load-test the service without written agreement.
- Resell raw bulk access to the data as your own competing catalog API.
- Use the data to mislead consumers about prices or availability.
Keys that break these rules can be suspended. We'd rather talk first — if your use case needs more than the limits allow, contact us.
